JAMES DRODDY FRESHMAN SCHOLAR SCHOLARSHIP

Fall Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded a student accepted into the Freshman Scholars Program each fall. The recipient must be a full-time student and preference will be given to students that demonstrate need and special consideration will be given to scholar students in the ECU Band. This scholarship is a leadership scholarship and can be used for tuition, fees, and/or books.  James “Jimbo” Droddy was a member of the ECU Band and was an accounting major who enrolled as a Freshman Business Scholars in 2015. He was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 2017. This scholarship will be awarded to an incoming Freshman Scholar as long as the program exists, otherwise the scholarship will be awarded to an accounting major with preference given to a student who is also a member of the ECU Band. This scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the Stonecipher School of Business Scholarship Committee, or their chosen designee.
