LEE HORNE ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP

Spring Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded to students classified as junior, senior or graduate level that are currently participating in ECU’s Football or Men Basketball program or a student who has no remaining athletic eligibility and was previously active in ECU football or Men Basketball program, but still needs additional college work to reach degree completion. Preference will be given to those planning to pursue a career in coaching or have a declared major within the Stonecipher School of Business. Mr. Horne was an avid supporter of ECU athletics and other programs, as well, and served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors for several years. This scholarship was established in his memory by his family, friends, and colleagues after his death in 2009.
