ED AND LATRICIA HUCKEBY OUTSTANDING INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Current Spring Only Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding instrumental music student selected each spring by a committee composed of the full-time instrumental music faculty chaired by the Director of Bands.  Dr. and Mrs. Huckeby attended ECU in the late 1960’s and were members of the ECU Band under Professor Don Gant.  Ed completed his BAEd in instrumental music in 1970 and has since been involved in music education as a high school and university band director, music department chairman, band clinician and internationally recognized composer of band music, in addition to having an extensive career in higher education administration.  Ed and Latricia are passionate about supporting the ECU instrumental music program.
