WHITNEY BYNUM HOWARD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Fall Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded to students with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a declared major within the Stonecipher School of Business.  Preference will be given to students who have graduated from a Pontotoc County high school in Oklahoma (Ada, Allen, Byng, Latta, Roff, Stonewall, or Vanoss).  Preference will also be given to students that have completed community service or a community service project with a group.  This scholarship was created by friends and family of Whitney Bynum Howard to bridge the gap for those students whom would otherwise have to take on student loan debt to complete their higher education goals.  Whitney is described by those who knew her best as a selfless, kind, respectful and loving individual, who had a true servant heart.  This scholarship is to reward someone with these same qualities that is truly committed to learning.  Whitney leaves behind her husband Taylor, her best friend & soulmate and son Jackson, the light of her life.  She was the mom, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, co-worker, student, etc. everyone wishes they had in their life.
