NANCY WILLIAMS EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

Fall Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded first preference to a student admitted into the Teacher Education Program that graduated from either: Midwest City, Del City or Carl Albert High School in Oklahoma . Second preference will be for students that were homeschooled within Midwest City or Del City in Oklahoma per their permanent mailing address. Third preference will be given to any student that is enrolled in the Library Media program within the Education Department. Ms. Williams graduated from Carl Albert High School in Midwest City at the age of 17. She had family attending East Central who encouraged her to apply. She loved everything about East Central State College, loved being a Tiger Cheerleader, and loved the beautiful city of Ada. Nancy graduated in 1975 at the age of 21, was hired in August at Mid-Del, and retired from there at the age of 51. “Reflecting on life and accomplishments, I know without a shadow of a doubt that had ECU not been a part of my life I would not be the person I am today”
