KEN TURNER BASEBALL SCHOLARSHIP

Fall Scholarship This scholarship will be awarded at the discretion of the Athletics department to a baseball player.  Ken was a long-time baseball and basketball coach and educator at ECU.  He came to ECU as a student-athlete and earned his bachelor’s degree in 1962, his master’s degree in 1968 and a second master’s in 1972 from OU. He became a member of the ECU faculty in 1967 and continued in his post until his retirement in 1994.  Mr. Turner passed away in 2017 at the age of 83.
